Leipzig we have arrived! (Day 2 & 3)

Guten Morgan!

The last few days have been a whirlwind! After arriving in Leipzig on the morning of June 7th, the choir had a bit of time to rest before it was rehearsal time (No time for jet-lag in the music world!) However, when you are in a city like Leipzig, the energy of excitement is so thick, sleep pretty much seems impossible. Here are some fun photos we took inside the famous Bach Museum and outside the historic Thomaskirche Church, where Johann Sebastian Bach worked as a Kapellmeister from 1723 until his death in 1750.

In fact, as you are reading this we will be in the midst of the our first Leipzig performance. June 8th has given us a day full of Bach Society Houston choir memories! #Blessed
